Historians report its abundance in ancient Peru from approximately 1,500 BC, with representations of this fruit having been found in huacos from the Moche culture and fabrics from pre-Inca cultures. It is beneficial for health because it is energetic and nutritious, its high value of vitamin niacin or vitamin B3 and provitamin A (beta-carotene), a strong and natural antioxidant, Recommended for the whole family.
